What to take on a trip. What to take with you to the sea

I remember that here somehow offered to create a topic. It is clear that each set is individual. But maybe, as a kind of collective wisdom, it is worth creating such a topic.

1. A minimum of shoes. One on yourself, one in a backpack (suitcase), plus slippers if desired - and you are provided with shoes for the next six months. If you are a girl. One pair of sneakers is enough for a man for everything about everything + beach slippers.
I personally have sneakers + sandals, while the sandals are with a small heel, and the sneakers are flat. Both pairs were carefully chosen for maximum comfort, so that you can walk a lot. Both with very soft and thick soles.
With shoes, the question is fundamental, because. the lightest pair of shoes has weight.

2. Minimum clothing. It is clear that everyone has their own, so here you can outline the boundaries - relatively speaking, the required minimum will be 2-3 sets (top + bottom), everything else is optional nyashechki. Shorts, pants, 1-2 T-shirts, a T-shirt or short-sleeved shirt, for girls - some kind of sarafan - and you are dressed for a week, and where a week is, there is a year. If it's cold, even a blouse. One. One is enough.
(I also have one shorts and one T-shirt, but they are very light and weigh almost nothing)
Ideally, all things should be compatible with each other and with both pairs of shoes (I have them).
Linen, well, that's understandable.

3. The tee, as it turned out, is a very necessary thing.

4. It is better to have all cosmetic and other products in special small jars, so that if something happens, you can fly without luggage (for example, they didn’t take my backpack in luggage on a flight to Rio, although the luggage was indicated on the ticket - and everyone was missed, except for shampoo ). Stock up in advance. As experience has shown, a small 20-30-gram jar of some kind of cream or foam is enough for how long.

5. Very small and light umbrella (mine weighs 150 grams). In general, collect things that weigh little. Suitable for any trip. Naturally, you only need it where it rains during your trip.

6. An external battery for recharging the phone and in general all sorts of chargers, adapters and other useful garbage.

7. Travel set of thread-needles, with the maximum set of colors (not all can be found everywhere, as it turned out). There must be a pin in the set, of course. The colors of the threads should ideally match the colors of the clothes you take with you - check if you have time.

8. Flashlight - in the phone or, if not there, just small-light.

9. I remember there was advice about Russian-language keyboard stickers for gifts to local residents. Good idea. I'm adding it to the list.

10. Fumigator and liquid. The fumigator can be found small and flat. (I have doubts about this point - isn't it easier to buy on the spot? Isn't it sold somewhere where there are mosquitoes?)

11. Boiler (can be the smallest). For those who want tea at odd hours. Let's say the bar is closed.

12. Scotch tape (small)

13. Inflatable pillow for airplane and bus, dark blindfold, earplugs

14. First aid kit: drops for a runny nose, tablets for diarrhea, constipation, indigestion (I have smecta, activated charcoal, mezimforte and loperamide), antipyretic (aspirin, etc.) remedies for headache and toothache (I have spasmalgon and ketanov ), from motion sickness (Dramin), alcohol wipes or something containing alcohol, BF glue for sealing cuts, antibiotic powder for external treatment of wounds (Baneacin), plasters for calluses and cuts, burn cream, bite ointment. It is usually advised to take something else anti-allergenic and a general antibiotic such as augmentin, but in my experience, such drugs are more effective if bought at a local pharmacy on the recommendation of a local doctor (or pharmacist) for a specific problem.

15. A cheap and light spare phone with a Russian SIM card inserted into it (thanks to Pasha for the advice). As practice shows, it is impossible to do without a Russian SIM card at all, because SMS from Sberbank and Yandex wallet come to it, for example, with secret codes. Yes, and it is more convenient to store a SIM card in your phone so as not to lose it.

16. 2-3 clothespins and rope (weighs nothing, but can come in handy)

17. Sunscreen in small packages (there is absolutely no need to carry a large one with you - as a rule, all these products are better and cheaper on the spot).

18. Sunglasses, a scarf or a bandana (the most comfortable and light headgear, if anything, you can wear it around your neck).

19. Towel - so far I have been replaced by his pareo (an extremely convenient and multifunctional thing, it immediately replaces a beach mat, towel, sun cape, skirt and headdress, and you can also twist a bag out of it). I wonder if there is a male version?

20. Photocopies of key documents, pen and notepad

It is often advised to take superglue with you, but now I have already leaked it twice on the plane, and on the spot this garbage is also sold everywhere, in my opinion

* * *
Here we have all the travelers, you can correct and add, and then you can make a note of the general authorship and replicate it on your sites, if you wish.

Going to rest on the sea, you need to take care of the things that you take with you. It often happens that everything you need has already been taken, and only at sea it is already discovered that some very important thing is missing, it has remained lying somewhere in the closet, and without it, the rest becomes not as comfortable as it could be with it . That's exactly why you should definitely read this article, which has already helped several thousand people to relax at sea comfortably and without trouble. And so what to take with you to the sea.

clothing

Choose clothes based on the climate of the country in which you are going to go on vacation. If you will bask on the beach in your country, then in this case it will not be difficult to choose the right wardrobe. But if you want to visit another state, then find out in advance about the local climate and the rainy season, because in some countries it can rain for several months in a row. Therefore, the answer to the question "What to take to the sea?" not as obvious as it might seem at first glance.

Don't take too many things, as most of them won't be needed at all. Also keep in mind that a suitcase should not weigh more than 20 kg if you are flying by plane (most airlines have such conditions), otherwise you will have to pay a lot, and it will be cheaper to buy things already near the sea than to take them from home. If you want to buy things cheap, then buy them not in shopping centers located near hotels or beaches, but in markets where they sell everything for local residents. You can learn about such places from the guide, at the hotel, at the consulate.

If you are going to the sea in your car, then you can not limit yourself in choosing things, take what you want.

For women

  • Swimwear (2 pcs). 2 bathing suits will suffice. In the first you bathe - the second dries, in the second you bathe - the first dries and so on in a circle. It is better to take swimsuits of different models and colors. No swimsuits or are there, but already out of fashion? It doesn't matter, it's just an excuse to buy a new beautiful swimsuit. A huge selection of swimwear is presented on, and they will be delivered quickly.
  • Pareo (1 pc). An excellent addition to a beautiful bathing suit and an almost indispensable attribute of a holiday in hot countries. Most importantly, choose.
  • Skirt (1 piece). It is better to take one long skirt for going to restaurants or entertainment venues. For the beach, a thing from the next paragraph is useful.
  • Shorts (1 piece). Very convenient for the beach, not hot, practically do not get dirty. What else is needed:)
  • T-shirts (2 pcs). Comfortable, can be worn anywhere.
  • Tops (2 pcs). The same as in the previous paragraph.
  • Hat (1 pc). Protects from the sun and will serve as a beautiful and interesting addition to any outfit.
  • Jeans or pants (1 pc). If it suddenly gets colder, thanks to jeans you will be warm and comfortable, besides, you can wear them in any place, be it a hotel, a restaurant or a shopping center.
  • Evening dress (1 piece). Take it if you are sure that you will attend exhibitions, expensive restaurants, dinner parties, otherwise it is better to leave an evening dress at home. If you suddenly need it on vacation, then it will not be difficult to buy a new one already on the spot, remember about the luggage weight limit on the plane, if you take everything in a row, you will get a significant advantage.
  • Sandals (1 pair). Take only if you are sure that you will need them (see point above).
  • Flip flops (1 pair). Excellent shoes for the beach, and in some places even mandatory for entering the sea, as there are beaches near which the bottom of the sea is covered with stones that can hurt your feet.
  • Sneakers (1 pair). Take it if you are going to visit the sights, take a long walk around the city, go to mountainous areas. And in cool weather, these shoes are just right.
  • Jacket (1 pc). Even in warm countries it can get unexpectedly cold, especially at night, so take a light sweater with long sleeves.
  • Underwear (3 sets). This is quite enough for an average vacation for two weeks.
  • Pajamas (1 piece). Sleeping in the same clothes that you walked down the street in all day is not quite the right decision, so bring one pajama or a nightgown with you.
  • Decorations (to a minimum). Do not take expensive jewelry made of gold or precious stones. There are thieves at every resort, so precautions will not be superfluous. Read the article about.

For men

  • Swimming trunks (2 pcs)
  • Briefs (2 pcs)
  • Socks (5 pairs). If your feet emit an intoxicating scent, then take more socks and change them every day. Of course, women like some smells of men, but the smell of socks can be deadly, in some cases even in the truest sense of the word :).
  • T-shirts (3 pcs). If you sweat profusely, then it is better to take 5 T-shirts or give the available ones to dry cleaning.
  • Panama (1 pc). Good sun protection.
  • Jeans (1 piece)
  • Shorts (1 piece)
  • Jacket (1 pc). It is better to take a jacket with long sleeves, not too warm, but not cool.
  • Flip flops (1 pair)
  • Sneakers (1 pair)
  • Shoes (1 pair). Take it if you are planning a solemn event or are going to visit expensive places.
  • Dress shirt (1 pc). Take under the conditions described in the previous paragraph. It is better to take a shirt with short sleeves so that it is comfortable and not hot.

For kids

  • Swimming trunks or swimwear (3 pcs). For a boy, take three swimming trunks, and for a girl, take 3 swimsuits.
  • Briefs (2 pcs)
  • Socks (3 pairs)
  • Jeans (1 piece)
  • Shorts (2pcs)- for a guy
  • T-shirts (2 pcs)- for a guy
  • Dress (1 piece)- for girl
  • Skirt + top (1 set)- for girl
  • Panama (1 pc)
  • Jacket with long sleeves (1 pc)
  • Light pajamas (1 piece)
  • Slippers (1 pair)
  • Sneakers (1 pair)

List of "What to bring with you to the sea"

Creams, ointments, etc.

  • Sunscreen (1 pc)
  • Tanning agent (1 pc)
  • Wet wipes (1 pack)
  • Mosquito repellent cream (1 pc)
  • Shaving cream (1 pc) - men
  • Toothbrush (1 pc)
  • Toothpaste (1 pc)

first aid kit

What to take with you to the sea from medicines? Pack a mini first aid kit just in case. Although there are hospitals in every city, especially a resort town, there are situations when you need to provide assistance immediately, and sometimes you just get a headache, do not go to the hospital because of this when you come to rest.

  • Activated carbon
  • Mezim
  • Medical alcohol
  • Adhesive plaster
  • Disinfectant (possibly brilliant green)
  • Pain reliever (for example, analgin)

Electronic devices

The less gadgets you take on holiday, the better. Have a holiday for your electronic devices. Of course, whether to take a laptop with you or not is up to you, for someone it is necessary, and someone can safely leave it at home.

  • Camera and video camera (preferably)
  • Mobile phone
  • Charging for phone and camera
  • Small laptop (you can do without it)

Of course, you will take at least one electronic device with you. But keep in mind that often phones, tablets and cameras are discharged at the most inopportune moments. Sometimes you don’t notice how time flies on vacation and you use the camera for a long time, and at some point it turns off due to a dead battery, and how many more interesting photos could be taken that would delight you for many years. It is for such cases that portable chargers were invented, with which you can not worry about the rest of the battery. One such device can provide power to a tablet, smartphone, player and other devices. You can buy such an irreplaceable thing inexpensively in the online store, almost all experienced independent travelers have this device in their bag, so you can buy it right now.

Documentation

What you need to remember to take with you to the sea? Documentation! Without them, nowhere.

  • Passport
  • International passport
  • Tickets (plane, train, bus)
  • Hotel booking printout
  • Visa (if required)
  • Consent to take the child abroad. It is required if only one of the parents goes on vacation with the child.
  • Money and bank card. I recommend reading the information about.

Other useful things

  • Sunglasses
  • Cosmetics (to a minimum)
  • small umbrella
  • Board games
  • MP3 player

Attention!!! Do not forget that for travel you need a comfortable and high-quality bag or backpack. An incorrectly chosen backpack can create troubles that will be felt already in the process of rest. Therefore, to make the trip enjoyable, purchase special backpacks for travelers (all recommendations are written in), these are sold in the online store at low prices, and the quality is very good. In general, I recommend, take it - do not hesitate.

Hello! My name is Pasha, and over the past 10 years I have managed to visit 70 countries around the world. During this time, I have seen from my own experience which things will definitely come in handy in a foreign country, and which are just an extra and unnecessary burden that is better left at home.

Specially for readers Adme.en I will tell you how to travel light, in comfort and how many things you really need to travel anywhere in the world.

How it all began

My path to independent travel began with a huge suitcase on wheels, a pile of guidebooks, paper maps, and a lot of little things that I took just in case.

And what a disaster the first experience of using the services of the budget Ryanair turned out to be, when I was simply forced to throw things out of my backpack into the bin, as they exceeded some norm! But the most ridiculous incident happened when I decided to bike from Malaga (Spain) to Turku (Finland) without having the slightest idea about cycling.

I had a 30 kg backpack on my back and 5,000 km ahead. But things didn't go according to plan on the first day. At first, I almost cut off my finger with a knife when I was assembling a bicycle that was broken on the plane. At the 1st kilometer, I broke the mirror on the steering wheel, and then a smartphone with a navigator fell out of the mount, and a truck passed through it the next second.

But most importantly, the heavy backpack put such pressure on my shoulders that by the end of the 1st day of the trip, my nerve was pinched, my fingers took the form of a steering wheel handle and did not unbend. The next morning, without regret, I dumped half of my luggage in the trash and began to write down the items that you really need to always have with you when you are away from home.

It took me 10 years, I walked about 230,000 km around the globe, to finalize this list and check its validity. There are only 20 items in it - these are things that together weigh no more than 5 kg and easily fit into a small backpack.

20. Mini bag on the shoulder, not on the belt

If you don't want to look like a typical tourist, don't take a waist bag with you on your trip. It is not always comfortable to sit with her, especially for long hours on the plane. A better alternative is a shoulder bag the size of half an A4 sheet. It will easily fit all your gadgets, documents and cash.

And if you are very worried about the safety of money, then you can put it under the insole in your shoes or under the visor of your cap. But do this only after passing through security at the airport, so that the border guards do not think that you are hiding your valuables from them.

19. Shoe covers, not shower slippers

The issue of hygiene while traveling is sometimes quite acute, especially if your trip takes place in Asia or South America. Not always in hotels or hostels everything looks like in the pictures, showers and bathrooms can be quite dirty.

In order not to carry wet and heavy flip flops with you, you can take several pairs of shoe covers. It is convenient to take a shower in them and it is not a pity to immediately throw them away. Shoe covers can also be used as socks if you get your shoes wet (as an emergency option for a couple of hours of walking through puddles).

But on the beach, instead of flip flops and other open shoes, it is safer to wear coral slippers. You can swim in them without fear that you accidentally step on a sharp stone, hedgehog or some kind of debris. And they can be taken as an extra pair of shoes when traveling short distances.

18. Earplugs, not a neck pillow

If you want to sleep on a plane or bus, then earplugs are more useful (several pairs and on strings are better, as they tend to get lost). I use them to block out the tiring hum of the engine and the noise of the voices of too loud passengers.

No matter how fashionable your travel pillow is, you will not fall asleep with it if you do not choose the right place. On an airplane and a bus, you will only have a chance to sleep at the window, as there is a little more room for maneuvering than in neighboring seats. And it is better to build a pillow from a sweater and a scarf of the usual rectangular shape.

17. Liquid antiseptic, not wet wipes

If you are accustomed to cleanliness during a visit to a foreign country, then you may have come across a situation where used wet wipes have nowhere to throw away. You put them in your bag, forget, as a result your passport gets wet by accident and all the border stamps slowly blur.

For disinfection, in any case, it is more effective to use sanitary gel for hands. A similar foot treatment will not hurt either, since you will be walking on a trip more than usual.

16. Napkins, not a towel

But with toilet paper and napkins in some countries outside of Europe it can be tense. Therefore, it is better to take a couple of packs of paper napkins or one roll of paper with you, and if necessary, buy these things on the spot.

A textile towel takes up a lot of space, dries for a long time, and you can ask for it in every decent hotel and even a hostel. And it’s more hygienic to wipe your face while traveling with paper napkins rather than a towel.

15. Coins, not souvenirs

“Coin from my new friend. He said that I could not buy anything with it when I was in Russia. He wanted to use it to make a wish, but instead he gave it to me. That's all he had with him. I think the most important thing is attention."

Once I was on a bus with a very charming Mexican woman, we got into a conversation, exchanged contacts. I wanted to give her something as a keepsake, but I only had 50 kopecks in my wallet. I said it was a coin for good luck. She was so happy and surprised that she even decided to write about this “generous” gift on her Instagram. That's what 50 kopecks are capable of for thousands of kilometers from Russia.

As strange as it may sound, take a few small coins with you on your trip. Firstly, it is easy to part with them in various tourist places in order to make a wish or follow some local superstition. And also it can be a great souvenir for any foreigner you meet during your trip.

14. Glasses with a degree of protection s4

When choosing sunglasses, give preference not to the beauty of the frame, but to a high level of protection from the sun. It is better to purchase this useful accessory with UV 400 or s4 protection. Glasses will come in handy even in winter, as the sun is strongly reflected from the snow, and your eyes will immediately feel it. As a last resort, take 2 pairs: one is beautiful, for photos, and the other is less glamorous, but with a high degree of UV protection.

13. Some old comfortable jeans, not a dozen trendy ones.

Jeans are the most practical piece of clothing to wear when traveling, but you don't need to bring multiple pairs to change them every day. One pair will suffice. You can take the old, a little torn ones, which you won’t be sorry to throw away and buy new ones. Dark blue shades are the most practical. And it is better to do without an abundance of jewelry and holes on jeans, as some tourist places may not let you in them.

If you're on a trip chasing likes and hundreds of photos of different looks, before trying to fit your entire closet into one small suitcase, make a list of the places you want to visit. Now you know how many outfits you can definitely need (it's better to lay them out on the floor for clarity).

Before jumping on your suitcase and pulling the zipper, check the weather forecast - it can ruin your creative shooting plans. After adjusting for weather conditions, feel free to leave at home exactly half of the clothes that you wanted to take with you.

12. Sports underwear, not fashion brands

Remember that on a trip you will move a lot, sweat, and everything that is most beautiful, narrow and fashionable will begin to rub very quickly. You also need to think about how and where you will have to wash your underwear, since a set of panties for all days will take up half of your backpack, even if they are mini and micro.

It is better to take care of buying sports underwear in advance (it can also be beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable). And it is also easy to wash, and it dries in just 1 night, not even on a battery.

11. Throw socks

But you need to take a lot of socks and choose the oldest ones that you have long wanted to throw away. Unfortunately, this piece of clothing usually dries for a long time, even in the hot Spanish sun (drying them right on the backpack during a long hike). Therefore, sometimes it is easier to throw them away and buy new ones (since this is not the most expensive expense item). It is better to choose socks in the form of footprints, they take up less space.

It is more convenient to sort all clothes into categories or days, and then put them in ziplock bags. So things do not get wet and will take up less space. And at customs control, you don’t have to dump and collect all the contents of the backpack if it is neatly packed into packages.

10. Shorts or sweatpants

Shorts may be needed not only on the beach, but also as an alternative to pajamas. Especially if you are staying at a party or in a crowded hostel, where you won’t be able to walk around in your underwear. Sweatpants as a spare set of pants or as additional warm clothes are also very useful.

9. Jacket with a hood, not an umbrella

A light jacket will always come in handy, even if you are flying to warmer climes. On the plane, it can be used as a blanket or pillow. And it will protect you more reliably from the rain than a heavy umbrella that is constantly twisted by the wind. It is better to choose waterproof and windproof jackets, which are usually preferred by professional yachtsmen. They can withstand almost any kind of weather.

8. Synthetic instead of cotton

Again, due to practicality and compactness, it is better to take synthetic clothes with you. It absorbs less moisture and unpleasant odors, dries faster and does not wrinkle too much. To make T-shirts and sweatshirts take up less space, they need to be twisted and secured with stationery rubber bands.

If you're going somewhere where the hot sun shines all the time, pay attention to t-shirts and sweatshirts with UV protection. They, for example, can be seen on surfers who spend a lot of time on the water under the scorching sun.

7. Old bank card and passport scan

Before the trip, send scans of your passport, insurance and other important papers to your e-mail. If you lose something, you will always have access to these documents. But it is better to take bank cards 2.

One expired, you will carry it in your wallet and use it, for example, to check the performance of an unfamiliar ATM. Sometimes the only way to get into the bank building is with the magnetic tape on your credit card. For this, it is also better to use the old map.

And on a valid card, write the wrong PIN code (or several) and erase the 3-digit security code on the back. But first remember it and write it down as the last 3 digits of a fictitious phone number. If your card falls into the wrong hands, scammers will try to enter the wrong password, and after several attempts, the ATM will simply swallow the card.

6. Castle

An experienced tourist will always have his own castle. It is often needed in hostels, where you can only be provided with a locker, and you need to pay for the lock separately. You can close the backpack with a lock so that during a walk it cannot be opened from the back. And when traveling by bus or train, for example, in South America or India, it is better to fasten a backpack or bag to a chair so that they are not dragged away.

5. Oatmeal, not sandwiches

If you plan to take some food with you on the road, then do not limit your choice to sandwiches and sweets. Oatmeal or any other instant porridge is your lifeline if you suddenly get hungry. It also helps keep you feeling full for longer. You can ask for boiling water both during the flight by low-cost airlines and at any McDonald’s.

Before collecting a first aid kit, remember that not all countries are allowed to import medicines without a prescription, some substances are completely prohibited. Therefore, first read the customs regulations.

Instead of a medical plaster, you can take a wide medical adhesive tape, it will better protect the corns and will not fall off. A remedy that helps with insect bites will also come in handy if you are going to the tropics.

But mosquito spray is better to buy on the spot. What you are used to using in your homeland may simply not work on local species of midges. And, of course, the preparation for burns will always come in handy, no matter how carefully you apply sun cream.

2. Tees and adapters

One of the most useful things when traveling is a tee for an outlet. At the airport, hostel and other places, there can be a whole group of people wishing for one source of food. Taking a tee, you can always charge your gadget, even if someone took a place there before you. Read carefully about the type of sockets and mains voltage in the country where you are going. It is better to buy an adapter in advance so as not to look for it at the most critical moment.

Remember that you are going on a trip to see something new, to communicate with interesting people, to feel the culture of another country. Therefore, you should not count on the fact that you can constantly sit on social networks and enjoy watching videos. You only need a smartphone for navigation and photography. To perform these functions, its charge should be enough for a whole day.

You should not buy a local SIM card with unlimited internet, because you can use Wi-Fi for free in all hotels and hostels, as well as at airports, shopping centers, fast food restaurants and even public transport.

But be careful and do not connect to unfamiliar networks labeled Free Wi-Fi, it may not be safe. The network name must match the name of the airport, hotel or restaurant.

By the way, you should not spend money on SIM cards, take an extra battery with you (which some airlines even forbid to transport) and worry that your gadget will run out at the most inopportune moment. Some 15 years ago, everyone was doing great traveling without smartphones and getting even more impressions from their adventures.

What are some things you can't do without while traveling?

And we approached the question of what to take with you on a trip, then we will help you with this.

Travels and trips are different - from short sorties for the weekend to long wintering in warm countries, which naturally implies a different degree of preparation and equipment. In this article, we will not be smart and write tips on packing suitcases or life hacks, but simply show cool and useful things while traveling. And so that you do not look for and do not ask us where they can be purchased, we have provided all the information with links to online stores.

Compression stockings for flights and a comfortable travel towel

Preventive compression stockings will be useful to you both during flights and during long walks and excursions. They will relieve you of swelling and heaviness in the legs, improve blood circulation during long trips and flights. You can buy in orthopedic salons, pharmacies or online stores - for example,

And a must-have when traveling - a microfiber towel: light, takes up little space, absorbs moisture well, and dries quickly. You can buy it in any sports store, for example, in Sportmaster

"Talking" clothes and accessories

T-shirts with a set of icons drawn on them will allow you to communicate with foreigners without knowing the local language. If you do not find common words with the local population, but want to be understood, just point to the corresponding picture, and explain the details with gestures.

Well, if you are traveling with a small child, we advise you to purchase a reusable bracelet on which you can write your phone number and other important information in case the child suddenly gets lost.

Anti-theft backpack

As you know, in all major tourist cities, petty theft always flourishes in transport and in places where tourists gather. And, of course, increased security measures to protect your valuables and documents from the encroachment of crooks will not be superfluous at all.

A backpack is a very convenient and useful thing when traveling. But it is this men's backpack that we want to highlight from the crowd. Classic design (suitable for absolutely any age), high-quality materials, protection against water and cuts. But the most important thing that distinguishes this model from other similar backpacks is that all the locks are located behind the back under the straps. This excludes intentional opening without your knowledge.

You can buy this model on AliExpress for only 2,600 rubles.

Cover and scales for luggage

Fans of low-cost airlines (“Victory”, hello!) and overweight! There is always a desire to weigh your collected luggage (suitcase, bag, backpack) in order to avoid trouble at the airport. Almost all airlines have significant surcharges for overweight, and urgently dismantling a suitcase on your knees at the airport in front of a curious public is still a pleasure. So a small and light steelyard for luggage will be a good helper.

And by the way, stop living in the last century and wrap your suitcase with foil! Buy a cover once - it will last a very long time. Bright - you will definitely recognize your suitcase from thousands of others; protects from dirt and takes all the blow - after the trip, wash it, and it's ready to go again! Along the way, catch a life hack: before leaving for the airport or right at the airport, take a picture of each of your suitcases. And if suddenly one gets lost, a photograph can significantly speed up the search.

Cosmetic bag and first aid kit for travel

It is very convenient to have reusable travel-format bottles - no more than 100 ml - for your favorite cosmetics, which you cannot do without while traveling. They will not only make your cosmetic bag lighter, but also allow you to take it with you in your hand luggage (remember the restriction? You can carry containers no more than 100 ml each on board). Well, it's nice when everything is in its place - a cute cosmetic organizer bag with many compartments and the possibility of fastening in expanded form (everything will be at hand). You can’t do without a first-aid kit on any trip (by the way).

External battery for phone and universal adapter adapter for sockets

Without devices that require recharging, now nowhere. A portable charger and adapter that will fit into any foreign power socket are useful things for the avid traveler and his smartphone, tablet, laptop and a long list of all kinds of energy-dependent “friends”.

There is a good selection of batteries on Ozone (if you have never bought on Ozone, catch 500 points for your first purchase). The adapter can be ordered from AliExpress.

Laptop case and Wi-Fi signal booster

Without the Internet - nowhere, even when traveling. Work, check your email, surf social media and post new photos. Our laptops are always with us in backpacks, which we take in hand luggage. Soft covers for them are always welcome. Well, a Wi-Fi signal repeater amplifier is an indispensable thing, especially in hotels.

Bag for documents and wires

It is convenient when everything is in order, and you know where and what to look for. Passports, tickets, small change - everything you may need during a trip, at the airport or train station, is always at hand in a fanny pack. Well, the wires from the chargers, and the devices and gadgets themselves, memory cards, batteries - everything is also in one place, in a special purse and not scattered throughout the suitcase. Beauty and order!

For comfortable sleep on an airplane

On a long flight or trip, a comfortable neck pillow, perhaps a sleep mask, earplugs, soft slippers on your feet, and a blanket are very useful. Speaking of blankets. It's always best to bring your own. Those that are offered on planes are not washed as often as we would like!

One of the most comfortable neck pillows (3d) can be bought on the Russian Ozon or an inflatable version on AliExpress. Looking for a baby travel pillow.

Vacuum and zip bags for clothes and things

How to fit everything you need in a suitcase? Vacuum bags for storing clothes will help (useful not only when traveling, but also at home).

How to pack things so that you can easily and quickly find what you need? Transparent durable bags with zip fasteners, waterproof bags that can be used to store shoes, a set of bags of various sizes for a suitcase will create a pleasant organization in a suitcase of any size!

And I can’t imagine life either at home or on a trip without a convenient shopping bag, which will replace a lot of disposable bags. It is roomy, light, takes up very little space, can be washed (dries instantly). Take a few at once and forget about plastic bags that pollute our planet!

Convenient food container

And if you have an active baby, then take a closer look at such a bracelet (it can be from 1.5 to 2.5 m long), which will not allow the child to run away and get lost in crowded places. Very popular in Asia

Traveling with children - what to do with a child during a flight or on the road

Do you want your time on the road with children to fly by quickly? Be sure to bring something interesting with you that will keep both the child and even you entertained. We recommend this board game, which we ourselves take on any trip (suitable for playing together with a child from 4-5 years old). But the mosaic of stickers is guaranteed to give you 15-30 minutes of peace!)

Cosmetics for flights and travel

How to deal with dry air in an airplane? To moisturize the skin of the face, CAUDALIE moisturizing grape water in the form of a spray is suitable, just spray it regularly on the face during the flight. By the way, it is better not to use thermal water during the flight, it will tighten the skin when it dries out due to the minerals and salt it contains! Do not forget about the lips (any balm will do) and the skin of the hands (I highly recommend urea cream, they moisturize the skin best of all and are suitable not only for the legs (as written on the package), but also for the hands). It will be great if you take on board moisturizing eye drops (for example, Hilo-Komod) and a nasal spray based on sea water (by the way, regular moisturizing of the nasal mucosa works as a good prevention against viruses).

It is not necessary to take full-size formats of your favorite cosmetics on a trip. Take the necessary cosmetics in a travel package or purchase empty bottles of a small capacity and pour everything you need to take with you into them.
