Resource state management. Resource state: how not to lose inner strength

Each of us at least once experienced a state when the matter was arguing in the hands and, like a living thing, itself strove for completion. In the psychological literature, the term “flow” is still used in this case. I think this is a very accurate metaphor: the current picks you up and carries you almost without your efforts. And NLP experts call it resource state. I.e a state in which a person has enough strength and energy to achieve his goal.

The resource state is both about the physical and about psychological aspect. With a physical resource, everything is more or less clear: a sleepless, sick, upset person will be extremely unproductive. But with a mental resource, not everything is so simple.

Do you know in what state you are best at solving the tasks assigned to you, or is it difficult to answer like this, right away?

The most interesting part of the story is that the resource state is not necessarily about the raging energy inside. The resource state is when you practically effortlessly, efficiently and productively solve your tasks, even the most complex ones.

How do you know which of your states is a resource state? Try to remember your most victorious situations in life and restore in your memory: what and how did you experience in these moments in your soul, how did you achieve victory, thanks to what quality of yours?

Call on your subconscious for help. Take a dice and guess one of its sides. Now try to roll this die - you need to get the hidden edge - with a different mood (for example, "active desire", "question", "indifference"). The state in which the edge you need falls out is most likely your resource state.

True, it is still very important to understand that knowing your resource state is not enough, the main thing is be able to quickly(and on time) enter it.

NLP psychologists joke: a real master does not enter a resource state, he lives in it. There is a lot of truth in this joke! Although we all understand that it is impossible to be 100% effective.

How to tune in to the right wave?

  1. "Anchoring". Once again, NLP tools come to the rescue. Once again, remember those victorious situations that can serve as a source of strength and positive experience for you. Try to relive them and remember: how you feel, who you were in those moments; “Take a mold” of your resourceful self, put an “anchor” on this mood. Now, in order to tune in to the resource state, you will use this “anchor” to get it.
  2. Modeling resource state. Act as if you already have these resources: smile, move easily, try on the feeling of omnipotence, model yourself as a resource in your thoughts and “revive” this model, set it in motion.
  3. Necessarily make sure the physical resource is also full! Sometimes it's better to give yourself a rest than to spend time on inefficient work in an exhausted state. Remember Scarlett O'Hara's motto: "I'll think about it tomorrow." Eat some chocolate. Dance. Do something you love that has been waiting for a long time. Spend a day for yourself. And, having already recharged the internal batteries, then get down to your tasks!

In Germany, at the state level, a focus on the interests and needs of the student has been adopted. The main question that teenagers ask themselves is what my profession can afford me, and how it fits with my personal plans for life? Schoolchildren conduct reconnaissance of interests in 4 professional fields: services and social professions; administration and logistics professions; technical and craft professions; construction and green professions. If desired, career guidance for children in a playful way can be done from an early age - in the "Houses of a Little Researcher". In part, this is justified - if hobbies are revealed brightly, then it makes sense after elementary school take care of choosing a good gymnasium in your field. But more often schoolchildren come to the choice of a profession in adolescence. It is customary here twice (in grades 8 and 10-11) to conduct two-week training trials of professions. Interestingly, this is a must. school curriculum according to law. You can try yourself as an assistant to a pharmacist, beautician or hairdresser, economist - there are no restrictions. There are volunteer classes arranged by parents: they present their profession. Large organizations often organize open days. There is also help from local Employment Labor Agencies: these are special seminars and educational rooms. German parents, at least we have seen this very often, believe that the child himself must choose a profession, grow up on his own, solve his own problems, and determine himself. In any case, it is not customary to put pressure on a child - it is not uncommon for young people to determine their desired profession and receive a higher education at the age of 27-30, and this is perceived with understanding. But, on the other hand, the situation with the choice of work in Germany is not very good today - both graduates (every third finds it difficult to choose a profession), and enterprises (staff shortage), and the government are dissatisfied. Measures are being taken, and, as it seems to us, it is not far off in Germany to come to ideas of the same quality and comprehensive psychological diagnostics, and then - career guidance, as it is now happening in PROFChoice. What do you think, should parents help the child with the choice of a profession, or should they completely trust his will?

The human brain likes to structure the information surrounding it - this is a property of our psyche, and it really is easier for us to live this way. Although we do not completely defeat chaos, but the landmarks placed in front of ourselves, the “beacons” give the desired peace and confidence in the future. At least not for long. Even if we understand that this is only an illusion of control. Personality typing is just a story about “sorting things out” and making yourself (and those around you) a little clearer. Oh, there are many systems you can find yourself in. These are horoscopes of various stripes, and - probably familiar to you - socionics, and numerous sets of "archetypes" (not to be confused with Jung's archetypes), and even ... the Vedas! And what, does it really work? Is it enough just to determine your personality type to get your "instruction manual"? Let's not keep the intrigue for a long time: a 100% hit will never take place. But we can console you - personality typing, first of all, gives us a powerful weapon - a vector, a direction in which it is really worth continuing to look for our true destiny. And, besides, think sensibly - would you, on your own initiative, deprive yourself of wonderful opportunities, focusing only on other people's words? Therefore, our advice is to adopt the result obtained, but always check it empirically. Whether you are Balzac, Aphrodite, Kshatriya Warrior, or Merchant, try these personality types on yourself and listen: where does it hurt? What is missing for complete happiness? And what, on the contrary, responds as close and dear? By the way, PROFChoice specialists also use this tool in their career guidance courses. For example, we always use the Myers-Briggs personality typing method (and we chose it for reliability and validity). The result of its application will be able to suggest, for example, whether you are directed inward or focused on the world; result-oriented or process is important to you; how you make decisions and much more. There are, of course, many other techniques in our “arsenal”. Interested to try? Come to find out what your individual personality traits are and how this knowledge helps in choosing a profession!

Choosing a profession is a very important stage in the life of every person. After all, it is to this activity that a person will devote most of his time in the future. Therefore, he chooses not only a specialty, but also a way of life. According to statistics, in almost 90% of cases, the choice of a person's profession was influenced by parents. And the results of this factor are not always positive. So, some sadly recall how they once studied for several years only because "the father insisted on this specialty." And only after many years these people can take life into their own hands and start doing what they once wanted to do. But the lost years cannot be returned back. It is also sad that now it is not so easy to get a second education and completely change your usual way of life. But there are also cases when people are sincerely grateful to their parents for the fact that they once insisted on choosing “this particular specialty”. Often such people only then realize how close and dear this profession has become for them. Such stories have something in common: “I was just a youngster then, I couldn’t decide what my future profession would be. And if then my mother hadn’t stopped me and forced me to go to study at the Faculty of Finance, then I’m even afraid to think what would happen to my life now. So, is it still worth relying on the words of your parents if you decide to choose a certain specialty, or is it better to trust only yourself? After all, if you think about it, this is your personal life, your path. But parents are not strangers to us. And who, if not they wish us well. Opinions differed. So let's deal with this issue. Consider all the arguments of parents about their point of view, and what reactions it causes. "You can never make money in this profession" You settled on one profession, but your parents insist on choosing a different profession, causing this to be that you will not be able to earn good money. It is important to immediately understand what financial profit you expect to receive from work. You can earn a living and basic necessities in any field. And it doesn’t matter how much the professions are in demand in them. But to have a rest every year in warm countries, to drive an expensive car and systematically visit restaurants - this is, indeed, the charm of not every profession. You must make a careful assessment of your desired salary level. Therefore, it is sometimes better to listen to the opinion of parents, because sometimes it is not so easy to assess your needs. But do not forget - parents do not always have sufficient information on a specific issue, although they have extensive life experience. Checking such information is very simple - you can study information about a particular profession on the Internet, look at message boards, and look at the average salaries of such specialists. “I didn’t manage to get this job, but you can succeed.” Such arguments are made by those parents who, being your age, failed to realize their plans. They see their continuation in you, therefore, they want you to realize their dreams. Choosing this path, I want to justify the expectations of my parents as well as possible, but this decision should be taken very seriously. After all, it is one thing when you really inherited some skills from your parents, and completely different when there are none. If this is your situation, talk to your family. Find out why they recommend this specialty to you. Explain that you are a different person, and you may have completely different plans for life. “It just won't work out for you” Relatives say that choosing a profession that you like will end in difficulties and disappointment. Like, you simply will not be able to learn, as it is very difficult. Arguments such as: “You remember how our neighbor studied there, and did not even go to the second year,” may come into force. You need to listen to such arguments, and it is good to imagine what really awaits you in the future. You must carefully weigh all the pros and cons, your strengths and capabilities. But it is also possible that relatives give a poor-quality assessment of your abilities, especially if you notice similar arguments for other professions. “We know better what exactly you need” Most likely, at first, such statements are nothing more than an expression of protest by relatives. But there is no need to react too harshly. It is better to ask your parents to substantiate their thoughts. Perhaps they were able to discern some other qualities and features in you, and you simply do not see them. Often this is noticeable when you have not yet fully explored the various professions that are suitable for you. Therefore, relatives can give good advice, because, firstly, it is often better seen from the outside, and, secondly, who, if not your parents, knows you better than anyone. You should think about how well your family knows you. How close are your relationships with them, at what level of trust are they built. They may still treat you like a child, but you are no longer one. “Nothing will come of it without connections and money” close attention. Most good example - you have chosen a university with paid and expensive education, and your family simply will not be able to cover the cost of education. A similar situation may arise if you are going to study in another city. The key here is compromise. You need to either find another university that teaches the same profession, but cheaper, or go where you decide. In the second case, you need to agree with your parents that you will bear part of the costs of education. The second example is “without acquaintances you will not be admitted to this university.” Alas, there are also such places of study where they simply will not take the “first come across”. And parents can really understand this moment much better. In this case, it is better to start looking for compromise solutions together with the parents. “Why complicate things - achieve the same as me” Parents can do their best to dissuade you from studying for the specialist you have chosen, but recommend following in their footsteps. Of course, you need to listen to their opinion, because they know this field of activity much better. Ask the father / mother to describe all the disadvantages and advantages of their profession, subtleties and nuances. And then project them onto yourself. At the same time, remember that a lot can depend on the place of work, regardless of the profession. If the shortcomings that your parents described to you are related precisely to the place of work, and not to the specialty, then you have the opportunity to follow the same professional path, but in a different way, with your own steps. And mother and father will be excellent advisers along the way. “It's easiest here” Sometimes parents can insist on the easiest specialties. And it can even be in-demand professions. They suggest choosing a university where it is easiest to learn, and it is just as easy to find a job in your specialty. Of course, this will save you from many problems, but before making such a decision, give yourself an answer to the question, are you ready to give up your desires, ideas and ideas about the profession for the sake of ease and simplicity? What is most valuable to you right now? Don't divide into good and bad. It all depends on whether you feel self-fulfilled or vice versa - you will experience a constant feeling of unfulfillment. “If you go there to study, I won't help you.” Parents often feel anxiety when their child chooses a specialty that is far from their activity. For example, the father is a teacher, and his son wants to go to study as a doctor. Firstly, such anxiety is nothing more than a feeling of helplessness that arises in parents. Often a profession unfamiliar to parents can be shrouded in myths and misinformation. They may present it as very difficult, unprofitable or unclaimed. If so, then introduce your parents to your profession. Tell us what you will do every day at work, what salary you will receive. Summing up When choosing a university and a future specialty, you should not unquestioningly follow the advice of your parents. You should consider their advice as an auxiliary source of data. And it is important to remember that only this source is the most benevolent. But with this information, as with any other, you need to be able to work. What is meant? You should have a serious talk with your father / mother, find out about all the subtleties and reasons why they recommend you make this or that decision. At the same time, you should not express a feeling of protest - "I know everything myself." This is the worst advice ever. Remember, the words of relatives are not the only source of data, and it should not be so when choosing your future profession. It is very important to study the opinion of those professionals who are already working in the profession you like. It is also important to find out everything about the chosen university, faculty. And only then make an informed decision. Everyone needs information accessible ways. At the same time, parents are one of the most the best sources. But the final decision is still yours. Only you have the right to choose your destiny. But you should always be grateful to your parents for their indifferent attitude towards you. In any case, ask your parents to support your choice, your very first choice on the path to adulthood. Then you can say with confidence - "My future profession is the best decision." Good luck!

Every person faces the problem of career guidance, and it would be right to approach this issue with great seriousness and full desire. We must make our first, very important choice that will affect our future destiny. In order to make the right choice, you must, firstly, have a lot of information, both about the profession you are thinking about and about other other professions. Modern world contains a huge number of professions and it is advisable to choose according to taste, according to what you like best. Combine a profession with a hobby and then you will not regret the result of your choice. It is also desirable to decide on the desires and gradually improve in this profession, for a start it is desirable to observe the specialists, observe their working day, pay attention to what and how they do, and only then draw any conclusions. If you find it difficult to choose a profession, then it is advisable to consult a psychologist, talk to your parents, consult with different people who will help guide you in the right direction. In order to decide on a profession, you should carefully address this issue, you should determine all possible options for professions and then focus on how and what you like best. Like - this is "one side of the coin", you must understand whether you can do this or that job, then you will be able to assess your abilities well about a certain profession. And also you need to determine the state of your health, so that you know with confidence that you have no contraindications in the relevant work, otherwise different things happen in life. It is worth finding out the prospect of a profession in the territory in which you have a desire to work, where you would prefer to work for a long time. You need to decide which educational institution, higher institution, technical school, etc. you can get the profession you want. Also you can see different kinds professions on the Internet, their characteristics, decide for yourself what suits you best. Choosing a profession is a purely individual decision. There are cases when young guys and girls go where their friend or girlfriend goes, with whom they studied at school, in lyceums, in technical schools. If you choose a profession “for the company”, then later you will have to be prepared that you will encounter the problem of unwillingness to continue your education, because the profession suits your friend, girlfriend, and not you. You will find yourself in an incomprehensible state, you will begin to regret your rash decision, and regretting later is the most offensive and sad thing that can only be, so rely only on yourself in choosing a profession, listen to the opinions of others, but make the final decision yourself, otherwise you will regret. If you like the profession, then you can look at it from an excellent position, you like it, period. But where to go if after a while you don’t like it, if the desire disappears, if “life goes downhill”? To do this, it is worth considering different perceptions of the profession, try to find the largest number information to choose from, try to evaluate your profession from the outside, rather than from your vision. From the outside, we can identify the shortcomings of the profession, which are often invisible to those who “superficially” evaluate their future profession. It happens that your sympathy for a person "advises" you to choose the same profession as your peer, peer, but you must understand that even if you have the same interests, even if you both like it, then you must remember that each person is individual in nature, each has his own talents and preferences, each is different from any person, so choose a profession according to the criterion that he (a) go to this higher institution, and you, along with him (her) ), then this is wrong, because it may be convenient for him and he will reveal his talents to the fullest, and you, on the contrary, will no longer want to do your common business. The choice of profession can also be carried out by subject. Each subject leads to a certain number of professions, and, for example, school knowledge of social science and history can pull you towards jurisprudence, into the branch of law. School subjects that you like can also play an important role in choosing a profession. Labor can be different, both physical and mental, therefore, you must make a choice, what kind of work is preferable to you, the more you should pay attention to medical indicators, will you be able to perform this or that activity? It can also be a mistake when choosing a profession the concept of "prestige", everyone must determine for himself: what is prestige? Choosing a profession can be a very difficult problem, but it is one that every person must go through. This problem should be solved by you, by your independence, then you will have the desired result. Wish you luck!

In order to become a successful and wealthy person, it is very important to choose the right profession for yourself. A person should be engaged not only in profitable, but also in a favorite business, which is easy for him and brings pleasure. Therefore, to the question professional self-determination should be taken very seriously. Professional inclinations It is possible to determine the propensity for any type of activity and the professional inclinations of a person already in childhood, when the child is still in school. Some may think that in school years it is too early to think about a profession, but in fact, this is the first and very important stage in choosing a development vector and a future field of activity. Since schoolchildren rarely take seriously the issue of their future occupation, at this stage the responsibility lies with parents and teachers. They must correctly identify and notice the interests of the child, as well as those areas in which the child has the best abilities. In high school, students often show a steady interest in any activity. By the time they enter a secondary specialized or higher educational institution, many applicants already have a clear idea of their future profession. For those who can not decide on their choice, it is recommended to go through special psychological tests for career guidance, as well as visiting trade fairs, which are organized with the participation of employment services and educational institutions. Personal qualities When choosing the future type of your activity, it is important to analyze your personal qualities, such as: psychological characteristics (type of temperament, resistance to stress, susceptibility to external influences, degree of irritability, behavior in society, and others); professional knowledge and skills (level of education, depth of knowledge of the subject, ability to handle equipment, special equipment and electronics, ability to communicate with people, speed of decision-making, qualifications, and so on); physical qualities (state of health, physical abilities, harmful factors). The issue of employment An important criterion for choosing a profession is the demand for certain specialists in the labor market and the level wages. It is not always possible for representatives of “fashionable” specialties (economists, managers, lawyers, marketers) to find a well-paid job (or at least some kind of job). AT recent times there has been a trend towards a shortage of representatives of working specialties, engineers, narrow specialists. If you are just going to enter a higher or secondary educational institution, ask what professions are most likely to be in demand in 4, 5 or 6 years, when the issue of employment becomes relevant for you. In order to work as productively as possible and with the least emotional stress, you need to love your work and be passionate about it. At work, a person spends at least a third of his life, so it is important to spend this time with pleasure. Ideally, if your hobby is the source of your income. If you can’t find a job you like, program yourself that the job you don’t like is a temporary forced measure. Never stop looking for your ideal job, or try to start your own business. When choosing a future profession for yourself, remember that it will become an integral part of your life. Of course, you should listen to the advice of parents, teachers and friends, but the final decision must be made voluntarily and independently. And don't be afraid to go beyond patterns. Remember that the right choice of profession is the foundation of your future success.

Almost every family sooner or later faces the problem of choosing a future profession for their child. The financial situation of the family, the presence or absence of one or another educational institution by place of residence, continuity of generations - these and other reasons, one way or another, influence the choice of the child's future path, his future profession. For some, certain prospects are an incentive for decision-making, while others, faced with many problems, make adjustments to their plans. Learning the basics of science at school, many young people do not think about their future profession until High school prom, their future is depicted figuratively and vaguely. In childhood, everyone dreams of becoming doctors because the doctor treats, teachers because the teacher gives grades, a famous artist or a cool businessman. But by the time of graduation, things become more serious, the reality of life prioritizes. The prospect of choosing a specialty When choosing a future profession, everyone should be guided by the prospect, after graduating from an educational institution, they will get a job and receive a decent salary for their work. That is, being before choosing a profession, you need to study the market of demanded specialties. How realistic is it after receiving a diploma to get a job according to your qualifications. Choosing an educational institution The second important point is the choice of an educational institution. You need to study the rating of universities, reviews and the like. How competitive in the labor market will the diploma obtained over time be. A significant number of prospective students live in small towns or villages. Therefore, choosing the university where the child will study, we choose the city that will become his home for some time. How ready are children and parents for such a step? After all, this is a serious change in the life of a child: a new environment, new people, other values. You should also think about the place of residence itself: a hostel, or an apartment. In this case, conditions and price are important. In addition, how far from home is the city where the child plans to study, how often will he have the opportunity to come home? All these seemingly trifles, in fact, significantly affect the internal state of the child and his success in life. Psychologists say that such changes in a child's life are stressful for him. And do not say that they are already quite old at that age and independent. Only a small percentage of children painlessly experience the moment of such major changes in their lives. An important stimulating factor is the scholarship. Getting it increases responsibility, interest in learning, in extreme cases, in the final result - passing the session. The child has his own money, earned by intellectual work, increases, which is important, self-esteem. Hence the conclusion - you need to strive to enter the budget. Besides, free education will make it possible to save decent money, parents will not have to pay for education, they will not “give away the last” in order to educate their child. And in principle, any responsible child who understands how difficult it will be for parents to give him a paid education will himself strive to enroll in free education. The desire of the child himself All these points, of course, must be taken into account when choosing a profession. Studying materials in social networks By communicating with other parents who have already gone through this “school”, weighing all the pros and cons, certain knowledge is accumulated, which in the future can significantly affect the decision in choosing a future profession for the child. But still, the most important thing in this whole matter is the desire of the child himself. Even if he clearly and definitely does not know what he wants in this life, what profession to choose, what to give preference to, all the same, every young person has already formed some priorities, interests, knowledge by this age. In any case, each of them has their own interests, privileges, attraction to certain industries, an inner feeling - "this is mine." When faced with a choice, one should act by the method of elimination. To begin with, exclude what is categorically not suitable, then act on the principle of excluding what could be marked as an option. And always, before submitting documents, have several suitable options, preferably equivalent. Parents always want their children to have a better life. It is following this principle that all their actions in relation to their children are directed. Education is no exception. Their help in this matter is very important, because they have their own, invaluable life experience. But, despite this, nevertheless, the last word should be for those who will take these very exams, pass tests, who will comprehend the heights of knowledge. The choice is for those who, after several years of study, will have to implement the acquired skills and knowledge in their chosen specialty. The choice is our children. Just because the work is fun.

Here comes the spring. The air was filled with exciting joy, dreams and the expectation of a warm summer. But high school students have slightly different concerns. After all, they are waiting for final exams and the need to make a difficult choice of a future profession, that is, to choose a university where they will study. It is easiest for those who read these sentences and think: “Is this a problem, because I have long known what my future profession will be, what university I will enter, and what awaits me in general in my life.” But, alas, many high school students face great difficulties in choosing their future university and profession. Choosing a profession is an important step in everyone's life, and in order to make exactly the decision that suits you, you need to do some work: Stage 1. Make a list of professions that you like the most, for which you have a soul, desire and interest. Step 2. Make a list of what you do best. You can start with school subjects in which there is the greatest success: chemistry or physics? Mathematics or Russian? Drawing or music? Think about how you spend your time - sitting at home reading books, or looking for something new on the Internet? What TV shows and movies do you like to watch? What book topics interest you the most? If it will be difficult to determine for yourself what your soul lies in, and what inclinations and what you have developed the most, then you can turn to a psychologist. At the same time, you can choose both your school psychologist consultant and a professional from a career guidance center. In the latter case, a career counseling session will be held in stages: the first stage is tests, the second is the consultation itself. With the help of these tests, a psychologist will be able to analyze your inclinations, interests and abilities, to determine some character traits. But remember, a specialist will not be able to make a choice for you - everything is only in your hands! Stage 3. Enter separately the most demanded professions that will be in the future. According to experts, in the next few years, engineers will become one of the most sought-after specialists. Indeed, in all industries for a couple of years, there has been an acute shortage of personnel. This list of specialists also included web designers and web developers, specialists in sales and marketing. Of course, health workers and doctors, teachers and agricultural workers will always be in demand. Step 4. After compiling these three lists, analyze and compare which specialties are included in the first and second lists. There may be several. Stage 5. Find out as much as possible about the specialties that you have identified. Analyze what kind of work these specialists do, what industries exist in these professions, what duties are assigned to the shoulders of these people, etc. It will be great if any of your friends work in these areas. Ask him about the profession, and even better - stay a few days with them at work. In this way, you will be able to throw away the illusions regarding the chosen profession, which will help you take a balanced and correct solution in future. This technique has shown itself well in those cases when you have to choose from two or three professions. But in any case, when considering the choice of a future profession, highlight those for which you have an inner attraction. Do not focus on prestige or the opinion of someone else. Try to make the choice of the university yourself, without outside help and advice. Also, you do not need to choose a profession and think that this choice will be final and “for life”. Prepare for the fact that you will have to constantly develop and improve your skills, and possibly change jobs. There is no need to be afraid of this. After all, every year there are completely new vacancies and directions that may arouse your interest. After the decision is made, you must determine in which university you can get this specialty. There is no time to relax, because this is your life and your path. At the same time, do not forget - everything is only in your hands! Some Helpful Tips for Parents Recommendation #1. Remember that the choice of a profession and a student's university can be influenced by the most various factors: teachers, friends, media, etc. Therefore, it is important to be very careful about the choice of your child. Recommendation #2. You have more experience and knowledge. Therefore, try to help your children, give them as much objective information as possible on a particular profession. Focus on the features of the sphere, its characteristics Recommendation No. 3. Do not impose your point of view, give the child the opportunity to analyze and make a fateful decision. There are always professions in demand, but their list often changes, replenished with new specialties. This is due to the rapid growth of the market and the development of technology. At the same time, completely new professions are emerging. That is why it is worth focusing on what you like the most, what there is interest in. You need to use every opportunity to try something new, to test yourself in other areas. Only in this way can you confidently make a choice and say: "This specialty will help me open up, and help determine what my future profession will be."

Each of us at least once experienced a state when the matter was arguing in the hands and, like a living thing, itself strove for completion. In the psychological literature, the term “flow” is still used in this case. I think this is a very accurate metaphor: the current picks you up and carries you almost without your efforts. And NLP experts call this the resource state. That is, a state in which a person has enough strength and energy to achieve his goal. The resource state is both about the physical and about the psychological aspect. True, it is also very important to understand that knowing your resource state is not enough, the main thing is to be able to quickly (and on time) enter it. NLP psychologists joke: a real master does not enter a resource state, he lives in it. There is a lot of truth in this joke! Although we all understand that it is impossible to be 100% effective. How to tune in to the right wave? "Anchoring". Once again, NLP tools come to the rescue. Once again, remember those victorious situations that can serve as a source of strength and positive experience for you. Try to relive them and remember: how you feel, who you were in those moments; “Take a mold” of your resourceful self, put an “anchor” on this mood. Now, in order to tune in to the resource state, you will use this “anchor” to get it. Modeling the resource state. Act as if you already have these resources: smile, move easily, try on the feeling of omnipotence, model yourself as a resource in your thoughts and “revive” this model, set it in motion. Be sure to keep the physical resource full as well!

Probably the most main question which we ask ourselves is: what profession should we choose. And this question is more important than many, because it is difficult to finally solve it, and only a few of us from early childhood know what they want to do in life. Most of the guys are already recent years students at school begin to think about what profession they would like to master, and what university they would like to enter. We need help with this, because we all remember how windy and changeable we were. Independent choice The main thing that a graduate should remember is that this is his choice with which he will have to live all his life, that it is unnecessary to succumb to the excessive influence of parents or friends. Of course, the opinion of parents is very important, because they are well aware of the pros and cons of their children, but sometimes they try to fulfill their dream in choosing a profession at the expense of children, hoping that their child will fulfill what they failed. Or it is also possible that they are trying to get you to follow in their footsteps. Well, or the most banal example, it is the success of a child of friends in a particular profession that encourages parents to think that their child will be able to reach the same heights. Therefore, it is preferable for a graduate to choose an institute and a specialty on his own. What will help in choosing a profession? They were helped by psychologists who developed a special program that allows them to highlight the key skills of a person and offer him the most tempting job prospect. For this, three main parameters should be studied: 1) what special abilities the applicant has; 2) interests and hobbies; 3) as well as personal characteristics, sociotype of a person, etc. Let's start with interests, everything seems to be simple here, work should bring pleasure, and become a highly paid hobby, so to speak. But even the choice of interests is not easy for everyone, many change them too often. Also, in order to achieve success in any business, hobbies alone are not enough, you also need to understand what kind of people you belong to, so it is customary to divide people into “techies” and “humanitarians”. Therefore, you should at least decide what you like best, so an engineer must understand mathematics, physics, chemistry well, which is more inherent in a techie. But the main thing is not the ability and passion, but the personal characteristics of a person, but it should also be remembered that the importance of determination and patience in achieving a goal can hardly be overestimated. You should not chase the most prestigious and highly paid professions, because a lot can change in five years of study. A profession close to you will always bring you pleasure.

Be resourceful? And what is it? Do we need it?

What is a resource state? Here are some definitions:

Resource state (or - to be in a resource) - the presence of physical, mental and spiritual strength and energy to solve upcoming problems.

General neurological and physical experience in which a person feels his resources; a state of mind conducive to achieving a result.

To give an example with a car. When do you think your car is in a resource state? Drunk, i.e. enough fuel, repaired, i.e. healthy, clean, and then his owner goes into a resourceful state with a smile to drive this car on the road.

So, the main types of resource for a person are physical, psychological.

The physical resource state is rested, vigorous, healthy, energetic.

Psychological resource state - a state of confidence when a person feels vitality and energy, motivation and desire, the ability to complete a task.

What is more important, physical or psychological resource, it is wrong to discuss: both are important.

If a person has not slept for several nights in a row, his stomach hurts and his teeth ache, it is difficult to expect good spirits from him. On the other hand, the inner feeling of success, self-confidence is a thing of exceptional importance. With one exact phrase, you can both raise a lying person and kill a standing one: the muscles remain the same, but their user is already different.

Restoring your own resources must begin with the physical state - this is the basis of everything. And after that - be sure to do psychological state: correct self-tuning will multiply strength.

So, is it possible to create and how to create your own resource state? Not only possible, but necessary!

Method number 1

Think of a situation in which you felt cheerful, energetic, positive. A very real and concrete situation. Think back to that situation. Look at it again with your own eyes, listen for any sounds that were there, what you felt, what you looked like, what you did. Pleasant feelings will also return. Our brain reacts to the memory of an event in the same way that it reacts to a real event. A melody, a photograph, a smell can bring you back to the past experience again. This is the power of lucky talismans. They are anchors for warm experiences in the past and therefore the person re-experiences that warmth in the present. They work not by magic, but by association. Whatever that resource state is, if you had even a glimpse or faint hint of it in the past, you can bring it into the present.

Create an anchor for this pleasurable experience so that you can bring it into the present at any time you need. It is best to use something that is naturally associated with this memory: a picture, a melody - a kind of reminder. If you don't have anything like that, create an association. Stop at the anchor you like. And every time you see it, mentally go back to the past, relive this experience, go inside it and restore the emotions associated with it.

Setting anchors takes practice, but by repeating these steps for a few days, you will come to the point that the association will play out naturally and automatically, and you will no longer need to consciously think about that experience. When you use anchors, your state will be returned to you.

Method number 2

And again we return to the past experience. Recall again some situation in which you felt cheerful, energetic, positive. A very real and concrete situation. What gave you strength there? And write it down for yourself. Return to the real reality and ask the question: when I am in a resource state, what am I? Write everything down. Now let's move on to the next step. Next to the list, write down what you can do to get it. Choose the most relevant ones, those that bring you the greatest contribution to your resource state and add them to your daily plan! And act!

This will help you not to waste your body's strength to the point of exhaustion, and then not know what to do to replenish it, but to move systematically and with pleasure, and your body will thank you so much, and your goals will be achieved easier and with inspiration!

Each of you has heard this word - Resource. Each of you has your own idea of what it is. Someone with this word has images of things, money, authority ... Or time, opportunities.

And for me, this word evokes a feeling of a certain state of mind and body. The state from which, as from a magic box, you can take whatever you want.
I will share this experience with you.

In order to be filled with a state from which one can draw strength, one must first empty oneself.

Yes exactly. Like a warm evening shower or bath, where pure water washes away all the dust and unpleasant adhering emotions from the body, soul and mind.

    • Stop first! Wherever you are. Sit comfortably, but with your spine straight and your feet planted firmly on the floor or ground.
    • Relax the muscles of the body and especially the face, inhale deeply and exhale calmly. Let go of all the thoughts that curl around your mind like colorful ribbons.
    • Open your eyes and look at any objects, noting their color and shape. Whatever they are. No need to recognize and analyze them, to define and compare. Just look and observe for a few seconds everything that your eyes will pay attention to. Do this for several breaths and exhalations.
    • Now close your eyes and slowly imagine what you would like to see. It can be a person or an object, a color or an element ...
    • Without opening your eyes, calmly switch your attention to all the sounds in the space around you. Just listen to the noise. It's like the sound stream is going through you and you're just watching it.
    • Now remember the sounds you know: for example, a moving train, the rustling of the sheets of a book or foliage under your feet, a recently heard song, the sound of a loved one's voice. In general, all the sounds that you want or that can give you pleasure.
    • Then turn your attention to any scents your nose can pick up. Notice them. Several breath cycles. And again - remember the pleasant aromas of flowers, fruits, freshly cut grass or your favorite perfume, or maybe the smell of fresh wind?
    • Let go of that as well, switching to your taste buds. Recall the sensation of any taste that gave you pleasure or excited you.
      Several breath cycles.
    • Now remember the feeling of touching a silk fabric or stroking a loved one, the feeling of a hard surface or soft, warm or cold, the feeling of the body in contact with water.
    • Feel your body. The touch of your hips on the surface you are sitting on, the feeling in your fingertips or toes, or even the feeling inside your body.
      Several breaths and exhalations.

In the process of passing through this experience, unexpected and simple solutions to issues often come and, most importantly, the mood becomes light, like a spring wind and a feeling of energy and desire to do something. Work, learn, create, smile.
...Smile at others)

I am not asking you to take my experience or believe me. But you can try and see! :)
And find out what will happen to you.

Psychologist at the Center for Successful Relationships

The state of lack of energy is familiar to every leader. With the self-realization of a business woman both in business and in the family, this problem becomes especially acute. The endless “shoulds” and “shoulds” lead to the feeling that you give more than you receive. For sincere relations with those close to the end of the working day, there is simply no strength left. How to cope with emotional emptiness and increase energy levels? Anatoly Sivakov, psychotherapist, specialist of the International Center "Consulting.Training.Coaching" (MCC CPC) talks about this.

When a person complains about lack of energy, what does it mean scientifically?

— We all have psychic energy (or life force), which is expressed in a person's ability to perform actions in the surrounding material world. The reserves of this energy depend on innate individual features and human fitness.

But there is also external factors which often lead to emotional emptiness. The basic principle of the existence of living matter, including man, is the unity of matter, energy and information. Man is more of an informational being. A large number of cases, issues on which decisions have to be made during the day, require the expenditure of psychic energy. Often, when there is a massive flow of information, the brain does not have time to differentiate it according to the principle of importance, urgency, value for a particular person, and we are talking about a lack of energy and emotional emptiness.

What role do emotions play?

— Emotions are a link between external, internal information and physiological processes in the body. It is emotions that "charge" the body to a certain action. All information perceived by a person enters the limbic system. It is also called the "emotional brain" - it is there that information undergoes "primary processing" and receives an emotional assessment. Each emotion causes physiological changes, through the release of certain substances (for example, hormones) prepares the body for adequate actions, reactions to information. But the reserves of the same hormones are not unlimited, the rate of their release is limited. With an overabundance of information, emotional exhaustion occurs. Usually this is accompanied by negative experiences, loss of the meaning of life and the ability to enjoy anything. In other words, a person begins to experience distress, in which the deep reserves of the body are activated.

Emotions always signal to a person how his needs are satisfied, life plans are realized. One of the causes of emotional exhaustion is the impossibility or difficulty of realizing the leading values in everyday activities.

Resource state

If it is necessary to switch from one social role (leader, business woman) to another (daughter, beloved woman, mother, socialite), a woman risks wasting all her energy. How effective are various drugs that increase the level of “happiness hormones” and energy in general?

- All stimulants - from energy drinks to those that are called antidepressants in everyday life - lead to a short-term increase in mood and energy. This or that stimulant spurs one of the links in a complex system, for example, the production of serotonin. Under the influence of a stimulant, the body begins to use up its strategic reserves, which manifests itself as a burst of activity. The body then adapts to the intervention. There comes the effect of one cup of coffee, which no longer invigorates. But if you refuse a stimulant, you immediately feel a sharp decline in mood and strength. As a result, a complete desynchronization of the system may occur. Since all the reserves are exhausted, you feel powerless, chronic diseases become aggravated, psychosomatics appears, you start making mistakes in your activities, up to getting into an accident.

How to protect yourself from stress without side effects?

- It is enough to replenish energy consumption in a timely manner, to disconnect from everyday activities. To regain clarity of thought and cheerfulness, you can listen to your favorite music, take a walk in the park, go for a relaxing massage, or just take a nap. It is no coincidence that cafes are opening in Japan that offer not a gourmet menu, but a business dream. Having paid the entrance fee, you can relax in a cozy bed while listening to the sounds of nature.

Positive emotions feed us with psychic energy. Therefore, periodically switch from what “de-energizes” you and focus on what pleases and relaxes. To do this, it is important to understand where your source of replenishment of wasted energy is. Separate it from "should" and "should", start doing what brings immediate pleasure. The source of pleasure is individual. For example, one client of the CPC MC, a top manager of a large company, looking for a way out of the state of eternal bestowal, realized that she likes antique furniture in all aspects. It became interesting how they do it. She made trips to the workshops and eventually went as an apprentice to a well-known master cabinetmaker. This hobby has become a source for her positive emotions which she missed so much.

But what if you can't relax? When there is no time and energy for what yesterday brought pleasure?

- The first thing to do is to deal with the external and internal causes of energy decline. In what situations do you feel the most acute lack of energy? Which one has more energy? How does both feel in the body, what emotions does it evoke? Then find the answer to the question "What do I want?". And start looking at the resources available to achieve what you want and prioritizing.

It is not easy for a person in severe distress to do this kind of analysis on their own. Especially looking for resources. In such cases, the specialist will first of all work on the formation of a resource state in a person.

Reference: Resource statethe best mental condition person to take appropriate actions in a particular situation. In this state, a large number of specific neurotransmitters associated with a sense of well-being and increasing stress resistance (oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine and endorphins) are produced.

How exactly does a resource state “work”? How is this different from taking stimulants?

- External intervention due to stimulants violates the emotional-physiological balance even more. And the method of entering the resource state restores it. The mechanism of action of the resource state is based on the properties of human imagination and memory. It used to be that events in the memory are stored and retrieved in their original form, like pictures taken with a Polaroid. Modern scientific evidence says that every time we remember a situation, we recreate it anew, making changes. Changes can be made quite consciously, so that they work for the present.

Take, for example, the most common approach to the formation of a resource state - an imaginary walk to a resource place. This is a place from the past, where a person felt really good, calm, where he felt confident, full of strength. During such a mental walk, the limbic system authorizes the production of hormones that maintain the recalled positive state at a physiological level. As a result, the human body really enters this resource state, energy is restored due to the switching of neural connections. A person feels rested and can work more efficiently, make adequate decisions.

Is it possible to independently learn how to enter a resource state by following the instructions described in books on NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), Ericksonian hypnosis?

- Of course you can. But in psychotherapeutic practice, the following pattern can be traced: often life's difficulties grow into problems precisely because of the steps taken by a person to get out of the difficulty. And the independent steps taken sometimes become a mechanism for maintaining the problem. Why? Often there is the effect of a “spoiled phone”: when information is transmitted from one person to another through language, it is distorted in various forms. As a result, some details of the method can be misunderstood by a person, some discard those details that seem insignificant to them. Plus, in the popular science literature, not everything important is clearly stated.

A safe way out of any distressed state is meditation. This method, which everyone can master, has been tested for thousands of years and works without ideology.

Due to individual characteristics, each person develops his own entrance to the resource state, which is more comfortable and effective for him. For these purposes, I would advise you to pay attention to meditation techniques. Among them are static and dynamic techniques. The latter are effective for those who cannot stop the flow of disturbing thoughts, relax.

According to studies in neurology, it takes 20 minutes to switch the energy "mode" of the body at the neural level. 20 minutes of meditation every day will "energize" you with daily stress. But do not expect a miracle in a stressful situation for you, in moments of hard time pressure and lack of real rest, you will not be able to stay in a resourceful state.

limiting beliefs

But it happens in life: there is a force majeure at work, a child with pneumonia, a conflict is brewing in a relationship with her husband ... and the car broke down in the middle of the highway. Is it possible to mitigate the risk of distress?

“Like in any situation, you have a choice. Or you overcome your "collapse" due to rest, the technique of entering the resource state and stimulants. And again you feel fine until the next event, which is very likely due to high business activity. Either these measures are not enough for you, since they do not radically change the situation. And you begin to work on restructuring beliefs that limit your ability in certain situations to remain in a resourceful state and act effectively.

A belief is something we believe in, a kind of filter through which we perceive information. What does not correspond to the person's belief system, he does not seem to hear or see, and sometimes is consciously discarded. Beliefs can be divided into supportive (adaptive) and limiting (maladaptive). Those beliefs that “filter out” information that is useful for some kind of activity will be limiting. For example, a person has a belief: I have poor ability to foreign languages. He refuses to see all his successes in learning the language, but he sees and experiences all the failures, which will require enormous energy expenditures from him for learning.

Think about what limiting belief leads you to undesirable consequences or situations? What prevents proper processing of incoming information.

When there are a lot of urgent multidirectional problems, you want to hide headlong under the covers. But I understand that I can’t afford it and I order myself to pull myself together.

— To the typical business women limiting beliefs include the belief “I should be better than men otherwise I won't be successful." I can't help but remember a quote from the movie "Ask Cindy": "Women who agree to be equal with men in their business lack ambition."

The beliefs that limit us are often formed in childhood under the influence of society and the attitudes of our parents. They are closely related to our values, life choices, picture of the world. And, as a result, under their influence, we form situations that confirm their “correctness”. For example, take the common belief that " worthy men not enough for everyone." A woman who thinks so is definitely not enough worthy. However, we have clients in the CPC MC with completely different problems, who, in addition to a worthy husband, have a friend and a good acquaintance.

That is, is it enough to realize your limiting belief and understand its relative correctness?

Awareness of a limiting belief in most cases does not lead to real change for the better. In stressful situations for a person, persuasion will act automatically, even if he has realized it. Let me give you an example from our client. As the chief accountant of a large Western company, Ella has a belief similar to yours, “if not me, then who?”. At home - problems with her husband, at work - financial statements by Western standards. On the eve of the audit, she is taken by ambulance with pressure to the hospital. Ella breaks out of the hospital, confident that no one but her will be able to turn in reports. She can't afford to rest. With a sense of imminent catastrophe and dizzy, he rushes to the office. And on the way crashes into a pole. Again ambulance, hospital, dropper. And this is in the hottest period at work! Watching the events from the outside, she is surprised that the huge holding continues to work without her, the audit is successfully passing. What's next? Ella leaves the hospital, immersed in her usual rhythm and family problems. Even having received transparent consequences of her actions, she cannot rebuild: “My body said“ lie down! ”, But I can’t.”

How can you get out of the trap of limiting beliefs?

Beliefs of this kind act automatically, influence the behavior and choice of a person in stressful situation at an unconscious level. Almost every person has situations about which he can say: “I understand everything, but I can’t do it differently.” If you catch yourself on such an effect, I advise you to contact a specialist who will help transform the belief. This will require a lot of inner work from you, but in the end you will transform the destructive information of the belief into free energy.
